Changing order of books in a series

Hi There,

I am looking for help updating my first two books in the Nicolet Series to reflect a change in their ordering. Joy of Today is now book 2, and Hope for Tomorrow is now book 1.
Joy of Today. Hope for Tomorrow I have new covers.

As a a member of the Goodreads Author Program you can add new editions with the new cover (if they have different ID's like isbn or asin) or create ACE's for the new cover editions in case the ID's have remained unchanged.

Oh, okay. Thank you! What is an ACE? My books' isbn and asin numbers haven't changed.

A so-called Alternate Cover Edition.

and especially:
To add an alternate cover edition of your book, you can navigate your book's page and click on Add an Alternate Cover Edition. This will transfer all information from the existing edition over to the newly created edition, excluding only the publication date and cover. It also removes the ASIN/ISBN from the old edition and adds it to the new edition. A Librarian Note is added to both editions. You will then need to add the new publication date and cover to the new edition, and save.

Can somebody help me? The book I am reading right now that I purchased from Amazon is not with the series but separate.
Can you merge this paperback to the appropriate place within the series without deleting it?
The book title is Jackdaw by Daniel Cole, the info is 328 pages, Paperback

It should go with the Jackdaw series by this author but instead is posted as a standalone. Please I am reading it and do not want a problem with it, if you cannot merge it then leave it as is, I’m sure eventually somebody will do it, when there are a lot of people trying to read the series

It just needed to be combined with its other editions.
