Laura | 1168 comments Are we doing just a single line for Bingo this round, or is this one two?

message 57: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32724 comments Just the one to win - vertical, horizontal or diagonal

Laura | 1168 comments Steph wrote: "Just the one to win - vertical, horizontal or diagonal"

Thanks!

Is there a spreadsheet this round? I want to verify that Team 2's Q is in the upper right corner. The tail for the Q is placed in such a way that I keep wondering if my screen is just dirty wherever I move it too. :)

Thanks! The O is in the opposite corner, so I did a double-take when I first looked, trying to figure out if I was seeing it correctly.

message 62: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32724 comments Yeah, that font places the Q's tail vertically instead of diagonally.

Wait... I thought book 16 was the final one... but now I'm thinking I was wrong which is great!"

I haven't heard anything about it being the last book, but now that I've read it, I could see it being the final book. Book 16 jumps about 20 years. If there is another one, I think it will have a significant time jump.

message 69: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32724 comments Okay, y'all need to stop. right. there. #16 cannot be the finale. I refuse it. 😠

I did a quick search to reassure myself, but didn't find any current info. She has replied to questions made on GR, so maybe ... nah, I can't bring myself to ask for fear of the answer now that y'all have me fretting over the end. đŸ€š

I did find these, but none really helpful at this point:

@ GR: https://www.goodreads.com/questions/9...
Lillian asked Nalini Singh:
Is the Guild Hunter series coming to an end now that there's only Bluebell and Sparkle left after Venom's book? :( Do you have a new series in mind?

Nalini Singh The GH series was always going to be shorter than the Psy-Changeling one because it has a smaller core cast. It's not ending just yet though - the story isn't done. And yes, I have a few things up my sleeve.

2. How many books will there be in the series?

At present, I’m contracted for three more books after Archangel’s War.

Since we're now FOUR after AW, I'm not gettin' warm fuzzies, y'all. Share any news y'all find, yah? Thx.

I honestly think she'll be moving to do more of her mystery thrillers. She has a tight publishing schedule with doing a Psy-Changeling and a Guild Hunter each year, but she also manages to sneak the mysteries in. It seems to me, reading her newsletters, that that is what she is excited about writing right now.

message 71: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32724 comments Yeah, I’ve gotten that feeling but 😔 don’t want it to end.

message 72: by Sandra, Kindle Operator Licence Required (new)

Sandra | 25912 comments If its the end, that is truly sad.

I don't read her crime mysteries, so then it'll just be Psy-Changelings.

message 73: by Marisa (new)

Marisa (moretta) | 1333 comments I've read a couple of her mysteries and I've liked them, but not as much as her Guild Hunter books.

message 74: by Laura (new)

Laura | 1168 comments I've also enjoyed her Rock-Star and Rugby romances. But those are contemporary, with no Fantasy elements. Maybe she has ideas for a new series. That could be exciting!

message 75: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32724 comments I read 1-3 of her Rock Kiss series; still have #4 TBR. I'm kinda interested in some of the others, but haven't read any yet.

A new UF/PNR series would be amazing ... but, don't wanna lose these two either.

Laura | 1168 comments Wanted to share this from Nalini Singh’s newsletter today.

As I mentioned in a recent Zoom event, the Guild Hunter series is starting to come to a close, but this wasn't the final book. I will warn you ahead of time when that time comes.

The next book is, as promised, a second Aodhan and Illium story. More details to come soon (but I can share that I've seen Tony Mauro's sketches for the cover, and they're breathtaking).

Steph (angel4492) | 32724 comments GMTA! I was just popping over here to share that, too. Sad it's confirmed that the series is coming to a close, but thrilled there's a bit more to come and that she's said she's let us know when it is the end. But, I'm so happy to be getting more Aodhan and Illium!

Shan ~A~ | 540 comments * For "green", read a book with "green" in the author's name, title or series or a book with a green cover

Does green need to be a complete word or just the letters of green?

message 93: by Steph, Serious series addict (last edited May 29, 2024 10:10PM) (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32724 comments The authors name, title or series name must contain the full word, ‘green’. I’d be willing to accept names that contain the full word ‘green’, such as ‘evergreen’, etc. For cover color, it must be “mostly green”. You’re welcome to share names and/or cover images for confirmation, if you’re unsure. Hope that helps.

Laura | 1168 comments When requesting two stamps at once, is it okay to put them into one post (in both the Captain's Log & Stamp Request thread)? Or do it like I did it just now with each request in it's own comment? Asking so I know for future.
