short and sweet review: 5.0
I went into this book blindly, not knowing what to expect. This was a 5 star read for me. I just love the Davie character. This was the first character that made me LOL. This book was funny, romantic and just all out real. I wish it was a part two. I enjoyed majority of the characters in this book but a few could have been left out and the story still would've been good.

Liz Alb | 117 comments I read The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton.

A mind-blowing fantasy that kept me thinking until the end. I flipped through the pages, wondering who the next "host" would be and what they would discover.

5 stars

I've found an appropriately Christmassy one for this end of the year.
The Twelve Topsy-Turvy, Very Messy Days of Christmas, James Patterson and Ted Safran

There seem to be two versions - one set in London and one set in Harlem. I'm reading the London version.

But I didn't. I ended up reading The Four Horsemen: The Conversation That Sparked an Atheist Revolution, which I very much enjoyed.
