Blake was hunched over Jaken, holding his stomach and wincing while he kept trying to wake Jaken up.
“There’s a lot happening right now”
(dude's kinda unable to speak right now, he accidentally hit himself with part of the shock he gave to Blake and - ya know - initiated some flashbacks. Also, when he brought out the bat wings, he accidentally switched his voice box over too, so he can only speak in squeaks when that happens if he's even able to open his mouth)
Blake was starting to panic, and he just laid on the ground, wincing in pain. ``Fuck.....``
“I don’t think he can talk right now” he points to jaz
He started whimpering, transforming into a bat. ``Shit...not again``
The only thing that manages to come out is a string of panicked exclamations, if that even works in squeaking. He is, however, curled up so tightly that he's pressing his kneecaps into his eyesockets
He stiffens at first, still a bit unused to contact, but eventually begins to relax a bit.
He walked out of the bathroom, sighing. ``Guess I'm going to be a bat for a while`` He squeaked, walking over to Jaz. He tried to put his wing, in-between Jaz's eyes and his knees so he doesn't hurt them. ``Hey it's okay``
He turns into his own bat, going and hanging from the ceiling to take a breather,” haven’t done this in a while”
The space there is a little damp - part of the reason for shoving his knees into his eyes was to hide the fact that he was crying, though it was mostly for the pressure, which is sometimes grounding (I do this irl) - but it wasn't too hard to wedge in between.
(me too)he curls up in his wings
``Hey, it's okay, you don't need to cry`` he chirped, ``Nobody here is going to hurt you`` he soon added. His voice was a lot higher, and more feminine in bat form.
Blake used his other wing to hug Jaz closer. ``You will be okay, especially with everyone in here...``
(why does it feel good though? like- you're pushing natural meatballs back further into your skull-)He eventually calms down enough that he's not trapped in a flashback, at least, but he's still gonna be a little off and jumpy for a while, maybe a bit quieter as well.
(like you said, its grounding)he flies down next to jaz, rubbing against him
(he doesnt talk much in bat form)
He smiled softly, ``There we go`` He squeaked, hugging him still. After letting go he winced.
(I can't get up without pain- my muscles hurt so bad)
(that's not good-)"You alright...?" it came out a crackly kind of squeak, much higher than you'd expect.
``Yeah, the baby is kicking a lot more than usual`` He squeaked, wincing again.
"Maybe it wants out-"
``I don't know, but it hurts a lot`` He squeaked.
``In a week....maybe two`` He squeaked.
Jaz tilted his head, confused as usual.
Jaz chirps back, still very confused.(bro has one braincell that only gets used in times of need or around machines, he ain't gonna get context clues-)
``But I'm not due for another week or two!`` He squeaked, scared.
he lets out a startled screech
He flies away, startled(He acts like an animal in bat form)
He started shaking. ``N-no`` he squeaked, wrapping his wings around himself.
(ahhhhhh)
(Bro this kid is stepping on my foot)He flies to the ceiling, squealing
He kept shaking. ``I-i hate hospitals...and either way how are they going to treat a humanoid bat???``
(one of my shark earbuds broke alreadyyyyyyy)Jaz just kind of sits there, staring off into space.
He jumps, letting out a sharp squeak
``Im sure they won't treat me like a normal person`` He squeaked, wincing in a lot of pain.
(RIP left sharky)"No, I'm just acting funky..."
He turned back into a human. He was laughing, and his father appeared in the kitchen, watching him.
He flies into jazs lap, looking around and shaking

``Someone here can take me unless somehow I can do that whole thing here....but it's not going to be pretty``
