"Thanks," he hopped up, grabbing the notably ancient device and a textbook before plopping down on the couch.
he tapped his fingers on the worn plastic casing as it booted up, humming.

When the thing finally booted up, it seemed fried. "Dammit..."

"It's fine, due for an upgrade anyways..." he closed the laptop, that seemed old enough to have been stolen from a tomb.
"Gosh where did you get that?"
"Goodwill. It was twenty bucks, so..."
Simon handed him a better more hi-tech laptop "Here take this..."
Simon then sat down on the couch writing something down "hmmm..."
Gym as my 1st class sucks...got my ass kicked today lol ))

"Yeah sure it's from an old friend...never used it before...besides I got a much better computer than that thing..." he said continuing to scribble down notes in his notebook
"Wow, uh.... thank you..."
"No problem bud! Now if you'll excuse me" he picked up Lucy who was waddling about "I got some play time with my kids" Lucy let out a giggle "PAPA!!"
He gave a thumbs up and switched over a drive, hoping the data was still intact.
"What are you doing there by the way?"
"Homework, got an essay due tomorrow,"
"I see...say have you seen Lilli anywhere?"
"I think she went for a walk with Astriel, actually."
"Ah I see..." Lucy giggles and pointed to Jaz "JAJAJAJAJAJZZZAAAA!!!!"
He gives a little laugh. "Whoa there, you know my name!"
"Nova's said your names so many times she knows it...wanna play with her?" She clapped her hands
"Sure, why not?" he tickles under her chin.
Lucy giggles, her wolf tail wagging "Jaaaaaaazzzzz >:3"
"Whatcha need?"
She gently nibbles his finger and smirks
"Ow, hey!"
"Yeah she's a biter...hahaha" Lucy pats his hands
"A cute one though," he picks Lucy up, giving her a spin.
She giggles and smiles at Jaz 'YAAAAAAAY!!!"
Jaz cracks a little smile and tosses her gently into the air, catching the child.
She giggles "MORE, MORE HAHAHA!!!"
"Alright then..." he tosses Lucy up again, careful to catch her on the way down. "What's it like to fly?"
"Fun!!! HEHEHE!! I want my own wings >:3"
"Maybe someday..."
Simon giggles "Heh she's a very...imaginative girl haha"
"Who says people can't have wings? No one said they had to be flesh-and-blood, maybe mechanical? Doubt it isn't in development,"
"ERR-- doubt she's old enough to have them though hahaha"
"Yeah, but someday,"
"Yeah...suprised by how much they're growing up...seems only yesterday they where born..."
"It definitely seems faster than normal..."
"Heh...yeah I guess time really flies by haha"
