Well this was he first in like a million novella series (ok, I think it's only six or seven) so there is still plenty of time for that to come back at her.

I really liked this book.. more that I thought I would! It was really hard to relate to Bayleigh at the beginning, but she got better as it went on. I love Jace, he's so cute! I think that picture will come back to hurt her in future books, as online photos usually do. I hope they make the second one free on Amazon, I really want to know what happens with Jace and Bayleigh :) (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 11 (view spoiler)[I'm not sure why, other than the reason Jace is using the land for a different purpose than his grandfather, that Bayleigh's grandpa dislikes him. If that's the only reason, that's pretty shallow.

I do like that her grandpa is looking out for Bayleigh and is putting his foot down about her behavior.

I hope Bayleigh stops behaving the same way to get guys attention. She barely knows Jace and she's expecting him to put moves on her already and is disappointed when he doesn't? She's need to get some self-respect. (hide spoiler)]

Finished (view spoiler)[I liked that Jace apologized to Bayleigh's grandpa and asked him if there was anything he'd like to have that had belonged to his grandfather. I also liked that he asked permission to take Bayleigh to the fair. Jace is what kept my interest in the story.

That was a good ending, but a little rushed.
