Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4836 comments Now you had me wondering how arnica works - and will try to remember that next time one of us gets a bruise. I looked it up. The word was in my vocabulary as a medicine of some type.

Hope it worked! Does it help resolve the bruise, or with the pain?

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12596 comments Evening all, woke up about 4.30 and not sure i properly got back to sleep. We had a stall at an event today, i was doing the afternoon shift, got to chat with our Mayoress, it was fairly quiet, but made a change. Started raining, i didn't expect it so had a coat with no hood, walked up to the car with my scarf over my head! Popped to Sainsbury's and got some bargains. Lucy has been really annoying dince i got home, if i touch anything that m
Makes a rustle sound, she thinks its food and demanding it! Been quite heavy rain this evening, we need it, when i drove past the lake yesterday, it was lower than ive ever seen it, yet the canal looked full!

I think its supposed to help bring the bruising out Alicia, its a herb. It was something recommended ny my old vet many years ago when i shut my car door on my finger! Only recently started using it again, even though I regularly have bruises!

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4836 comments Sounds as if Lucy is hungry, possibly making up for not feeling well?

Husband has been complaining about bruises which take forever to resolve; we may get him a cream with arnica to try.

We all worry about water levels now, all the time; I don't remember doing that before the pandemic so much.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12596 comments Evening all, what a random day weather wise, we've had blue skies, heavy rain, hail, and thunderstorms! It was nice when I was out doing ny install and started raining as i got home, so only neen out since to put the rubbish out. Drove past
the lake again, saw the cygnets and cormorants drying their wings on a bit that is normally under water. Have put the fire on for a bit this evening. Most of my nail varnishes arrived today, can't wait to try some on Sun. There isnt enough room on the stand though, so not sure where they are goingto live, might need a shelf. Finger is much better, had a bit of throbbing round nail bed.

I think its her thyroid Alicia, shes eating more human food than she used to, i might start leaving her with 2 pouches when I'm in the office, she gets extra while im WFH and took ratty neighbours advice to give her a bit of chicken if she demands it when I'm getting stuff from the fridge

Carol Dobson | 627 comments Cormorants are so distinctive, aren't they? I see them here, particularly at Meadfoot beach (where Agatha Christie used to swim!). They are often described as looking as though they are hanging washing out to dry.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12596 comments Evening all, rubbish night sleep, it was sunny this morning but chilly walking down the hill. Not a bad day at work, went to coffee shop at lunch and they said they are closing but not sure when. We do have Greggs, Starbucks and Costa that are a few minutes walk from the office, but not the same service. Couldn't get a reduced sandwich which is annoying as I don't think the cafe at tomorrow's craft fair is good for me. Gave Lucy 2 pouches before I left and she had pretty much eaten it all, do will keep doing that- might have to buy more food next week!
