And you can find Lucy's meds! This has been going on for a long time now.

Yes, this prescription was written in January Alicia. You would Jim, especially as being on an A4 piece of paper with a vet logo means it looks nothing like a normal prescription!

But you get done what you get done, and hopefully you'll have a couple of days when you can get caught up

It's all go here. The people buying Mum's house want to complete by end of July. It'll be hard going but I'm really glad as then it's done. Selling the house has been like rehoming a much loved pet and at least it's being bought by a really lovely couple who will look after it.

I hope we are going to get a nice September MT. Fingers crossed you can get the house sorted by end of July, glad you are happy with who is buying it.

Woah Desley, it sounds like you are properly busy! And thanks, yes, I am really glad the people who have bought it have. :-) It's a weight off and although it's stressy once this is done there's an outside chance I'll get my life back for a little while ... possibly. :-)

Do hope things do settle down for you after the house is sold MT.

Hope your foot is feeling better. It's not good resting if you're aggravating its condition, because pain doesn't help much of anything.
Our heat wave seems to be abating a bit, but was over 100°F for about two weeks. Fortunately, the AC they need to work on, held. I feel for the animals! Don't know if they've been using the water I put out on the balcony, or it's just evaporating.

Alicia, I’ve started feeding our hedgehogs.

We are lucky here in that we have a lot of wildlife but so far no badgers and foxes. I suppose it could be that it's mostly small gardens with high fences so they're tricky to jump and the badgers are too big to get through but there are plenty of holes for hedgehogs. I've been feeding them with some dry cat food that Harrison spurned, although they're going to get a bit of a shock when I go on holiday for two weeks because we have rats, too so I have to feed them at half eleven and leave the bowls in the middle of the lawn. I think that will be beyond the person who comes and waters the garden for us while we're away!
I haven't managed to take any pictures because my phone camera sucks at night.

Aww, hoglets too! So jealous.

Seems to me you're doing well on the constant change going on in your office - personnel, tasks, managers - and using your time there wisely. But it sometimes sounds exhausting.

It does sometimes feel very exhausting Alicia! The craft fairs seem to help balance things though.

Probably Jim, and apparently I'm friendly and approachable. One of the people who uses me as their go to person has taught 2 new people that you do x, then 'ring/message Desley to tell her' - not the team, me specifically! Possibly also helps that I recall so much and happy to offer things to help going forward.

If people have a go-to person, things get fixed before they get TOO messed up - saves time in the long run. Looks like you're needed there.

Yes, some people definitely now ask questions rather than hope they get it right, which is better for everyone.

Love the fact they'd rather speak to you than the boss

The irony is Jim, manager used to deal with that colleague before he moved teams, I've never spoken to him till he started his new job!

Looks like you had a good day catching up with people

Yes, and the 'helpful suggestions' - like I haven't been dealing with this for about 20 years!

When I was in grad school, I took up running - and was soon experiencing major pain in my hip. Surgeons wanted to operate (I wasn't even 25 - no thanks!), but, since I wasn't an athlete, but had probably hurt it running, I went to an orthopedic doctor (not a surgeon) who was also a runner. He said one of my legs was shorter than the other, told me he had something which MIGHT work, but no promises, made orthotics for my running shoes - and solved the problem! I used those things for YEARS after. I liked the way he approached things, and he saved me from unnecessary surgery and scar tissue.
I never became the kind of runner who got runner's high, but it solved the pain problem permanently.

Wow, scary that they went straight to suggesting surgery Alicia!

But it was nice to get out a bit. Food was unremarkable - they should have just done it on the grill inside. Brought my own low-sugar catsup - theirs is like eating sugar.

I confess I like a chippy tea occasionally but yesterday went for a walk with a friend and we stopped in at a local eatery which has just changed hands.
My lady wife joined us, it was rather good. We both had the fish and chips and they were excellent

Glad you enjoyed your fish and chips Jim. Hi Amy.

While not a brownie fan, I do like meals that are enough to leave room for dessert :-)
