I'm happy to learn. It makes me feel like I have a cozy spot watching one of my first loves, UK writing.

Just took some extra stuff - maybe I'll get more sleep tonight.
Sounds like you have a good manager.

We have cards with the facebook page details on Alicia, tend to give them out to people it seems will order more, though this week we did leave some on the table. We are going to put them in the teacher boxes too in case people who get given them would like to buy more. Hope you get to the bottom of it soon MT

The vets kicked off and the manufacturer backed down

That's one of the nice things at our retirement community: 24-hour concierge and they receive all the packages, and notify us. We have to go downstairs to pick them up, but that's VERY minor compared to not knowing where they are.

Yeah, downside is it isn't doing the same work.

My mother taught me, by example, but when I was a teen it just seemed so embarrassing! Her mother - my Mamina - did it, too - and they met the nicest people everywhere they went.
Now I do it, too - and it's even easier because my mobility device, the Airwheel S8 (bicycle seat on a hoverboard) breaks the ice everywhere. Everyone is delighted to meet Maggie (magnesium alloy frame, maglev motor), so I get to talk to all kinds of people when I go out (still rare because of the pandemic), and some of them will accept an offer to try riding. I'm a regular ham.
Too bad they don't seem to be sending them to the States from China right now - I think I could sell a bunch! Ebay doesn't have any.
Usually, you won't get any conversations if you don't start them - many people are shy.

Hope you're feeling better - maybe everyone would have benefited at that meeting with a break!
Woke to a very nice long comment from a reader - always cheers me up to have people take my writing the way I intend it.

ETA - forgot about my coffee! So I got them to make it with the Raspberry and Pomegranate syrup, the other girl hadn't heard this suggestion last week and was rather horrified, then apologetic in case I thought she was being rude and judgemental! I told her not to worry. I wouldn't have it again, it smelt nice, but I think the syrup was actually thicker, and had a bit of a weird texture and I was struggling to drink it, so not sure why, but it did curdle, which is a shame as I was tempted to see what it would be like in hot chocolate. I do remember buying a rhubarb syrup once that was thick and split in milk, maybe it's certain fruits.
Glad you woke up to a nice comment, always a good way to start the day :-)

Still keep reporting these experiments so at the very least we know what to avoid.
I must admit that if I'm sent shopping I demand a list because it's so easy to get distracted or overlook stuff.
Any idea how long you have to sit to get problems? It might be useful just to stand up and do something for a couple of minutes. I think that even with excellent seating people can still have problems

One more thing to watch out for, and deal with before it takes over.

Depends on the day really Jim, but sometimes I can't sit through a 45 minute TV episode, though the recent 'fine to feeling sick' have been after a couple of hours and worse if either Lucy is sitting on my (given she does weigh 5.2kg), or if I'm sat slightly differently to accommodate her.

Are you done with it? That would make it a bit better.
