[DONE] No page count on Amazon

It looks like Amazon has removed the page count from details of all the books so when we are adding a new book, how do we get that information? Is this just a glitch or is there some other way we should be gathering this data?

For example, this is the details on Amazon for the book things we hide from the light by Lucy score:

Hi, for printed editions, Worldcat.org is usually more accurate than Amazon. Here is a link to the Worldcat book page for your ISBN, where the number of pages is stated:

(Please be aware we are allowed to use Worldcat book data, but not their cover images.)

As for the Amazon book page, switching to Amazon Canada the page number is visible for the ISBN. So I would assume it's a Local Store issue (Amazon bug? Intentional programming?) that hides the page number info.

Corinne, Cyndi - I've seen recent automatic imports to Goodreads that is missing not only page number but also publication date, and when I've looked on Amazon it seems the .com Store is missing the data, but another store shows it in full (UK, Australia, Italy, Germany etc).

Likely a change on the Amazon side that has had unforseen consequenses for the automatic imports to this site.

Nah, mine are only guesswork at this point :) Though I'd love to see the issue solved by staff, so I hope Cyndi sends in a report to them.

Interesting OK well it’s half back then because it is there on the Kindle edition just not the paperback
