I also finally read a book from TUVALU:
Where the Hell Is Tuvalu? by Philip Ells (Tuvalu) 16 May 2025 ⭐⭐⭐ my review
I've been meaning to get back to this for ages! I have a book of short stories and poems from Portuguese speaking Africa. Includes authors from São Tomé and Principe. The book is: Lusophone African Short Stories and Poetry After Independence.
I read another Tajikistan:
The City Where Dreams Come True by Gulsifat Shakhidi* (Tajikistan) 6 Jul 2025 ⭐⭐⭐ my review
I recently finished The Ladies of Managua, so I've ticked off Nicaragua. That's me finished with my 2024 pledges now LOL. Time to get stuck into 2025...
I took the plunge with Niue Rising over the weekend, and yes it was dire. But a quick read and at least I did learn a few things about this small Pacific island. Another place ticked off Jenny's list. (review is in the main thread)
