Lou is a happily married mother of an adorable toddler. She's also the victim of a local serial killer. Recently brought back to life and returned to her grieving family by a government project, she is grateful for this second chance. But as the new Lou re-adapts to her old routines, and as she bonds with other female victims, she realizes that disturbing questions remain about what exactly preceded her death and how much she can really trust those around her.
Now it's not enough to care for her child, love her husband, and work the job she's always enjoyed--she must also figure out the circumstances of her death. Darkly comic, tautly paced, and full of surprises, My Murder is a devour-in-one-sitting, clever twist on the classic thriller.
(view spoiler)[ wow, that games sounds horrible I can see Angela wanting to be a part of it, maybe trying to take her power back but it's awful, just awful. and to let someone BE the killer?!? Ugh
I can't help but wonder, what will talking to Edward Early do? if he tells them why, what will that do?
there's definitely more to her last few days before she was murdered. I can't help but wonder, what don't we know?
the holding job is weird but also where I can see society going, if we keep people on-line all the time. (hide spoiler)]
what an odd story (view spoiler)[ it's an interesting idea, giving us the ability to "split" ourselves and deal with dueling feelings of making tough decisions.
I'm not sure how to feel about her leaving and them just replacing her with a clone. and the theme of the prison sentence - it was interesting but, again, definitely raises some interesting themes and ideas.
I'm so glad Angela's game got back at men logging in to kill them. that was just awful (hide spoiler)]
