Elliot | 2 comments Hi! My name is Elliot, I’m 21 in December (🥲) and I’m studying psychology! I’m attempting to rekindle my love for reading and hoping to do this here! I’m a fan of many genres and want to branch out to ready different types of books but my favourites are gothic literature and sci-fi and fantasy. I can never remember any specific books as a favourite but my favourite series is The Mortal Instruments universe by Cassandra Clare!

Millie (milkiesherbet) | 1 comments Heyy! I’m millie and i’m 18 studying geography BSc (first year). I don’t read very fast or consistently but I unrealistically hope to catch up with my tbr😭😭. I generally just enjoy any fiction as a whole so including like contemporary fiction and historical fiction etc (literally anything). I do want to read more classics tho as many of my reads are modern. My fav books atm are the song of achilles by Madeline miller and where the crawdads sing by delia owens :))

message 12: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 1 comments Hi everyone, I'm catherine, 20 years old and studying humanities (first year). I'm unhinged and have finished 78 books so far this year, a mixture of audiobooks, physical books and the power of my kindle. I love books that include fantasy, dark academia, teenagehood and codependency. Some of my favourites of this year include: the wicker king, summer sons, if we were villains and the girls I've been!

message 13: by Hazel (new)

Hazel Sarti | 3 comments Hi! I'm Hazel, I'm 23 and from Essex. I'm studying Environmental Science so sometimes my book choices are non-fictions that discuss science, philosophy or societal issues such as feminism or racism. I also love fiction books with no real constraints to genre, I love sci-fi, fantasy, classics, modern contemporary fiction, historical fiction, some horrors... Excited to broaden my horizons by sharing book recommendations! I couldn't attend the social so hopefully I can get kept in the loop about future book club meet ups.

message 14: by Ciara (new)

Ciara | 1 comments Hiya, I'm Ciara, I'm 20 from Bexhill and I'm studying social work (2nd year).
Bad habits but I can read 3 books in a week and then nothing for months, and I very rarely finish the last book of a series as I don't want them to end.
I mainly read fantasy, preferably in their own new world. I also love anything abt Greek mythology n it's retellings, and sometimes romance.
