Here are some YA dystopian book recs:
- The Giver By Lois Lowry (Read this as a kid, it's amazing)
- Red Queen By Victoria Aveyard (Enjoyed the first book, haven't continued)
- Cinder By Marissa Meyer
- Angelfall By Susan Ee
- Shatter Me By Tahereh Mafi (I DNF'd the series, but other people seem to enjoy the books)
- Legend By Marie Lu (Also DNF)
- Scythe By Neal Shusterman
- Partials By Dan Wells
- Red Rising By Pierce Brown

The Maze Runner is on my tbr list.
I loved the Divergent series the best.

Though I loved the first Maze Runner!

1. The Hunger Games
2. The Maze Runner
3. Divergent

I DO NOT WANT TO JOIN IT.
IF YOU SEND ME AN INVITE I WILL BLOCK YOU AND REPORT YOU FOR HARASSMENT.

Agree with "The Giver" for a recommendation.
Other than that, maybe:
- the "Gone" series by Michael Grant? Most similar to TMR though.
- "Cronos Cube" by Thekla Krausseneck, but that's currently only available in german.
- "Boy in a white room" by Karl Olsberg. It's a trilogy but can also be seen as a stand-alone, as the sequel is more like a spin-off and the last book is a prequel to the first book. (You should still read it in the order it was released tho.)

From there I started reading more dystopian series and I absolutely loved Maze runner and divergent series, in a way I can relate to their characters so well
An emotional roller coaster, but you gotta love the thrill😌

The setting is similar to Catching Fire, as the group is stranded on an island, which is inside a glass dome, and there's fog that can kill them. It's also a live tv show, broadcasted around the world, and the characters are at least aware of that. And, when one of them dies, they get announced at the top of the dome.
Just like in Maze Runner, they don't remember how they got there and sometimes get packages with food and weapons sent.
It's a full-color Manhua available for free on MangaToon.
Started it yesterday.

Absolutely devoured "The Hunger Games" trilogy in 3 days!!! Ballad of Songbirds and SnKes gook me longer though.
I've watched the movies of all the titles you've mentioned b..."
I haven't read MR and D myself, but I've heard MR is pretty much the same as the movie (according to Hannah it's not true, though). Whereas D gets a bit different later on, but since they cancelled the 4th movie and if you're curious how it ends, I'd give it a shot.

I haven't seen the movies for The Maze Runner, but for Divergent, you absolutely should read the books. The the movies are so utterly wrong (particularly Insurgent and Allegiant), as the entire plot has been changed in the later two.

I've heard the Shatter Me series is quite good, although I haven't read it myself.
