Drace (dracenines) | 7512 comments The 2022 anthology The Book of Queer Saints is getting a new and revised publication in October, but the new edition is listed as a separate book from the original edition. Could somebody please combine them?

Old Edition: The Book of Queer Saints
New Edition: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

Paola | 2165 comments Hi, I think it is listed separately because the new edition is only volume 1, there is also a volume 2, so they are actually not the same book.

I can confirm directly from the editor of the book that the one labeled Volume 1 is a re-print of the original edition. This text is taken directly from the crowdfunding page where Volume 2 was funded (link here, and emphasis mine: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/th... ).

"Volume II will be released parallel to a reissue of Volume I, now published under the newly formed Medusa Publishing Haus. Volume I's reissue will also be sporting a gorgeous new cover by Truborn Design, which will compliment Volume II's cover (sisters, not twins)."

The original version was published before there were plans for a sequel, so the new reprint is labeled Volume 1 to show that there is another book.

Also, if you look at the author list, every single contributor to the book (editor, introduction, and authors) are the same.

In conclusion: this is the same book as the original edition, but with a new subtitle. As such, it needs to be combined.
