"They do they like torturing the Districts by killing people. They like having a BloodBath. And they like wars between kids who haven't even lived long enough." Verene said in such a bitter tone.

Jace heard the two and quickly stopped talking "Hello?"

Verene saw the look in Blake's eyes and stood with him. She pulled out her daggers as well.

"Stop being like a guard dog and let me actually see." Verene snapped. She hated the thought Blake being a shield for her. She then moved to be next to him instead.
Jace saw them he froze but quickly recovered. "Who are you?"
“I am Verene.” Verene said. “Who are you?”
"Jace." He was a little afraid that he was talking to the one who killed his friend but he didn't show any emotion.
“Oh you are Marcus’s friend.” Verene lowers her weapon a tiny bit.
He nodded " It didn't last long." Jace put his bow away
“You know he asked me to kill him right?” Verene stepped a little closer to jace.
"I know I heard." Jace looked at his feet. "I watched him...." He didn't finish.

{hey yall idea, what if Jace gets pissed at Verene and tries to attack her then it starts a fight where Alex dies saving one or both Alex and Verene?}

{Okay, I am ready whenever you are}Verene lowered her weapon. She then said, "Marcus was weak." She said under her breathe.
Jace heard what she said. " He wasn't weak he didn't want to kill anyone he felt as though he was a monster."
"He was. He left April who I know he had feelings for. He couldn't push past his own demons to save the one he loves." Verene said.
Jace stepped away Then threw two knives one at Blake and Verene hoping to hit both of them.
Verene knocked Blake to the ground and sending the knives in the stream. "What was that for." Verene said standing up.

"It seems my friend had the right idea just the wrong execution. Only one of us gets to go free and it won't be me or you." He said drawing his bow.
Verene then pulled out her knives. "I was just stating a fact. You on't need to get mad because I was saying truth."

Jace shot an arrow not at them but at the tree near them causing the limb to break.
Verene dogged away from the falling tree branch but getting a tiny scrape from the bark. {BLAKE ANY DAY NOW WOULD BE GOOD FOR ALEX TO JUMP IN}
Jace noticed and disappeared into a tree raining arrows.
Verene then through a very sturdy and sharp dagger at a weak tree branch near Jace. The Tree branch broke and fell.
Jace managed to move quickly.
Verene the threw a dagger that hopefully cut his leg a bit.
Jace tried to catch it but managed to just knock it away. Cutting his hand.
Verene then threw another dagger at his shoulder.
Jace threw two knives at Verene
Jace managed to catch the one near his shoulder.
Verne dogged the two but one of them sliced a piece of her shirt off.
{Okay where is Blake he said he wanted Alex to like protect me}
Jace Shot two arrows one at her head and one at her chest then threw a knife at her feet
Verene quickly dogged the arrows. She ran into the trees. She then released a gas of poison behind him.

She made a sign to Blake and Alex and they took a deep breathe before Verene released the gas.
