"of course i am my love" he kissed her forehead gently "you are my wife. my everything. my world"
"And you are mine." She said. "I wonder what my father and brother are thinking. About this cause we are on television." Verene said.
"i'm not sure." he paused then realized he was going to have hell to pay if he somehow made it back "oh shit" he said quietly
"yeah" he groaned "it won't be bad just loud. she definitely will be mad we didn't wait" his ex was definitely a character

"Oh I just realized my ex probably will want to kill you or my brother." Verene said then thinking of her abusive ex, that her father forced her to be.
"Oh it been at least 2 years since we broke up, but my father forced me to be with this boy who was just like my father. And I hated it. My father wished we married. He got so mad he started hurting me what I loved the most which was my brother." She said wincing from the memory. "What about you?"
Xavier kept his shield up. He glanced at the backpack and meat lying on the ground. He immediately knew it was a trap. Someone couldn't have just left it there. If it was a dead tribute's stuff, someone would have already taken it. It was probably covered in poison or pressure-activated, but a pressure-activated trap would be too complicated. The tributes behind the trap must have been nearby, so he began looking around the stream and the nearby forest.
"thats not okay., remind me to kill your father " he knew there was no point as he was going to make it out but whatever the boy can dream. he continued "For me went from best friends to dating to friends to she will rip my throat out."

{no one should technically. not with how few there are and the very speciafic placement of it being like it was dropped when a tributes body was picked up}

"Yeah if only from natural causes." Verene then went quiet looking at Xavier. She always knew she hated that kid.
Xavier left cautiously, not wanting to spend too much time looking for some tributes. He wanted to spend his time gathering food and materials rather than hunting down some probably mediocre tributes.
When Xavier left Verene let out a soft sigh. "Finally I didn't know when that brat of a kid left." Verene said.
Blake wrote: ""do i do it babe?" he pulled his knife out "it could get this over with."""No." Verene said. "Let him die but not from our hands."
"I hate this but people need to start dying" he had to make sure Verene got out. the only way was to make sure people died"
"Well then, we will but let first have a peacful night without blood on our hands on our wedding night." Verene said looking at him.
{WE ARE CHILL}
" That sounds good." he opened his arms a bit and grabbed the sleeping bag out of his backpack "come here babe."

Jack ran into the forest, shaking sand out of his hair. He slung his bag onto his back, trying to figure out which way he should go. He heard the stream, but mistook it as just wind rustling the bushes.
Jack struggled, trying to grab something to get out of the water, but he got pulled under by the rough, fast undertow. He held his breath, but eventually, he needed to breathe and choked on the water. Slowly, he stopped trying to fight the water, his eyes going dark and his body going limp.
