Just as he suspected, Xavier couldn't sleep, the memories of Angel occupying his mind enough for him to not focus on sleep.
Verene started having nightmares of her mom's death. On how she stumbled into her mom when she was about to stab herself. She then finally remembered those last words her mom said, "I will finally be with Lily.' Then the room went deadly silent. And in my hands was the limp body of my mother.

"To be totally honest horrible. I had a nightmare of my mother's death." Verene said.

"I sorta want to talk about it, But I don't want to burden you." Verene said.
Mod
"Okay, I dreamt about when my mom Killed herself right after we got news of my sister's death in the capitol. My sister Lily was always the favorite with my mother. No matter how hard i tried to comfort her during the time it wasn't good enough, I wasn't enough. That is why I strived for my father's approval. But anyways I dreamed about how she died, when I stumbled into the kitchen and saw her having a knife at her chest. I was shock, too Shock to even move. And her very last words broke me, "I will finally find my beautiful Lily," I was heart broken." Verene said tears coming down.

"I know it just, the trauma of my mother's death. It just why did she love my sister more." Verene cried out.

"Thank you Blake, thank you." She started drifting off holding onto Blake's arms.

Verene woke up. to the breathing of Blake. She tried her best to get out of his arms. She climbed down to the stream and cleaned up. After she was finished she started to cook up the last remaining of the boar.
Xavier's eyes fluttered open as he climbed down the tree and headed back towards the stream to wash his face. His eyes were stinging from his crying.
"Hey, are you okay?" Verene asked looking at him.
"I don't think I ever will be again," He said, smiling sadly. He lost both of the most important people in his life within a short time. How could he ever recover?
"I am sorry. But she is happy." Verene said Looking down wondering what she would do if Alex or Blake died.
"R-really?" Xavier stammered, getting a bit shaky again. He never planned on getting emotional in the Games. He wasn't even that emotional outside of them. But this...this was unbearable. There was no way he could hide his emotions with something like this.
Verene went towards him and put her arms around him in a hug. "I am sorry."
Xavier hugged her back. "It's okay. It's not your fault. Besides, Angel once taught me to let my emotions out. It...it makes me stronger. In a way."
Verene never thought about it that way. She always hold her emotions intact. She never show them.
Xavier shrugged. "I still don't know how though," He continued, splashing some water onto his face.

"Why hello there." Verene said. Putting her arms around his neck. "How are you today?"

"I am doing great. Why are you acting so." She took her hand and put it around the hug. "Protective?"

"Okay what did i do for you to be so protective and do not say just because." Verene said looking into his eyes.

"Oh, is this some jealousy." Verene said then arched one eyebrow.

"I was comforting him." Verene started laughing. "Blake your the only man in my life besides my brother. Your the only man i love." Verene said smiling and giving a peck on his cheek.

"I am sorry, But trust me I do love you and nobody will ever, EVER take that away." Verene said. Hugging him even harder.

"Now, I just cooked the last remaining boar, so let go eat." Verene said pulling out of the embrace and tugging him to the fire. She sat down and handed him some boar.

"Yeah we really do. We should head to the Forest. There are more animals there." Verene ate a little bit and put it away. She didn't want to eat too much and waste some food.

Xavier decided to head back to his camp and eat some of the doe Angel and him hunted. He shivered, the memory of them in the forest that day almost making him sad again.
"So, I rather go to the Forest and hunt than go against some broken heart girl." Verene said.

Alex woke up to someone poking them in the arm.
"hey were going to the forest"
it was blake "oh ok." they grabbed there bag they had a hung from a nearby branch. "lets go"
