We will be announcing our Fall Book Club picks soon! Until then, we’re checking in on our summer 2023 book club picks. First up is the Emily of New Moon trilogy by L.M. Montgomery. (If you haven’t read the books, you can join the discussion later.)

Did you read the Emily books? What are your thoughts on these classic coming-of-age novels? Did you love the characters? The friendships? The love stories? Do you have a favorite part? What is your least favorite part? And if you’ve read the books before, did rereading them give you any new insights?

Let us know in the comments! And feel free to start a discussion!
It’s hard to believe “Emily of New Moon” was published 100 years ago!

L.M. Montgomery creates such lovely stories, characters, and places.

It's such a lovely book series to reread! The language, the characters, and the emotions are all so wonderful.

Sarah (fellowette) | 1 comments It's a perfect series, even the weird parts, and I credit it with inspiring me to become a writer and stick with it even when it was challenging. There is no one like Emily!

So true! It inspired us as well. I feel like I'm always trying to climb the alpine path!
