However, this book tells its story in a unique and original way. I liked how books played a big role in this novel. Even though the main character sometimes acts snobbish about books, the author doesn't make you feel bad for enjoying different types of literature. It's shown that it's a matter of personal taste and when you choose to read certain stories.

The story moves quickly, sometimes jumping ahead five or six years at once. I thought this was a good choice because it kept the story engaging without getting bogged down in year-by-year details. I got attached to the characters and felt sentimental by the end of the story.

After this enjoyable experience with the author, I'm really looking forward to reading Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow.

P.S. I saw that this book was made into a movie. And I'm not sure if it won't spoil my impression of the novel. Can anyone let me know if the movie's worth it?
