I read Carmilla over the summer; such a great story! I like to go back to old favorites in the Fall, maybe for the cozy feeling. Fall finds me rereading Louisa May Alcott and Betty Smith.

Just read Babel. It takes place at Oxford mostly. Nice dark academia /historical magical realism with Misty spooky vibes. It’s an allegory about the British empire exploiting their colonies/POC.
Highly recommend as a fall read.

if you're looking for a classic, i'd recommend any bronte or austen. or american psycho, one hundred years of solitude and dracula, they're on my own tbr. they feel rlly autumn and all :)
