Same series listed separately-Please combine

This author has a series with 2 different names but the same books (although the prequel/book #0.5 isn't on one of the series pages). Can you please combine them?

(The prequel was removed from the series. It'll be marked for removal because it's only available to Kacy's newsletter subscribers.)

I don't understand that logic. It's a short story that the author wrote and readers read/want to read. I've seen other newsletter special short stories on the site. This doesn't make sense to exclude the prequel if it's still a book that readers are reading. Can it be put back?

"Stories only available via subscription to a newsletter, or via a website that requires registration" are not valid book records.

Librarians don't make the rules around here we just follow them or risk getting our librarian status revoked. If you have seen other newsletter-only book records in the database they were added against policy. It doesn't mean they are valid. Authors sometimes add them against policy either knowingly or unknowingly [they didn't read the manual.] Or might have been a librarian. Lots of those were added by regular users when anyone could add books to the database. This was one of the reasons Goodreads revoked that [lots of people adding invalid or bad records.] Now only librarians can add books [and authors.]
