Was this book read through or is it just me?

I think throughout the entire book it was extremely tough to read how she was abusing her body and mental health continuously, she was self-sabotaging herself. Granted, I never been through a similar situation but it was tough reading all the things she was putting herself through and never feeling truly comfortable to open up to anyone. Broke my heart.
