Hero follows through on revenge plan

Hi all,
I'm looking for this book where the hero wants to ruin the heroine's half brother. The half brother is horrible and wants the heroine to be seen dating someone very high profile, and the heroine chooses the hero. The hero asks the heroine to marry him and then jilts her at the altar.
Any help would be appreciated.

Please also suggest other books with similar themes where one of the MCs hatches some kind of plot (may or may not be revenge) involving or directly targeting the other MC and actually following through it, not just pretending to do so or half-assing it, or chickening out at the last minute.
