At the beginning of chapter 9 now

I wonder what the situation was that Rip thinks he owed her a favor because it seems like she lied about something? Quite excited to find out what happened.
It definitely seems like Rip knows her family for some reason. I thought maybe one of them did something to a family member of his? We'll see. Or maybe to him and that's why he's covering his body and especially neck? I don't know.
I already feel like they're gonna be such a good couple. (hide spoiler)]

In the middle of chapter 19
(view spoiler)[The break-in into her sister's appartment was very suspiscious. She is definitely hiding a lot of things from Luna.
The way Rip and Luna are hanging out more is so sweet. I really like their dynamic and I am so excited to finally see more.
I feel like with each MZ book I read, I like each guy more and more. How is that even possible lol
I wonder what job it is that Luna's sister is doing? My guess would be something like stripper or maybe escort? Something like that.
I am lucky not to be in that situation but I would feel so betrayed if my sister would suddenly to my dad without telling me and even though she knows it's really bad. (hide spoiler)]

In the middle of Chapter 24. I just had an eye opening moment.

Finished yesterday and, of course, I rated it 5 stars.

(view spoiler)[I don't even know what to say, I just loved the book. I loved Rip, I loved Luna, them together, other characters and it was just awesome. Will wait for you to finish the book so we can talk about it more. (hide spoiler)]

Been a bit slow on this one as need to finish some other books for this month. Finished till chapter 6 and I am into the story.

Firstly I need to say every time I read Rip, I think RIP lol. Even mentally cracked a lame joke of Rip saying RIP at her grandma's funeral.

Everything aside, he again seems like a typical MZ grumpy alpha male with the heart of a puppy (the donut wink wink) - which I totally fall for every time! I think there are a lot of history yet to be disclosed on both side and the potential for a nice story. I wonder what the deal is with Rip and Cooper. Are they related by any chance?

I am in chapter 14 currently, really liking it though I feel the characters are dealing with issues that are a bit heavier than her other books.

(view spoiler)[ I have a feeling that what you are thinking would probs be spot on where their past are interlinked in some manner. I read the part where he drives to take her to her sister. Wonder what's up with her and where the sister is getting all her money from. I would probably be too pissed if anyone makes me take a long journey, only to send me back. I loved it when they hugged and he kept holding her, like aww.

If my sister would call me and I'd drive there for hours (view spoiler)[nothing would make me go away until she tells me what's going on. I mean especially if she's the one who called me. It was a bit weird to me that she'd just go without pushing her more. (hide spoiler)]

Yeah, I agree with you but (view spoiler)[ it seems that there's something fishy going on with their dynamics. It was a bit of shame to drive all the way and not get any response. Finally done with the toppler and resumed this, I was looking forward to some MZ magic after all the horror/thriller I read recently haha.

I am currently in chapter 23. (view spoiler)[ Rip's character has developed so much and he has been so nice to her. They shared a heartwarming kiss as well.

I feel there's definitely a link between Mr C and Rip and the reason they argue. I have a stupid feeling that he is the father or some relative and that's why they have the business together etc. Makes a lot of sense as he has been a father figure to Luna and shows happy expressions when he sees her and Rip together.

Luna also shares her experience and I really hate her family. I also don't like her sisters other than the youngest one so far.

(view spoiler)[ This book was such a nice read overall. Just saw 2 broken characters come together. I also quite liked the part when Luna got pissed with him and he was trying to win her over in his weird Rip style. Mr Ripley had me cracking every time haha. (hide spoiler)]

Her family (view spoiler)[is awful. I only like her youngest sister as well and think that the other two are backstabbing brats. And well, her dad is a really bad person, I think we can agree on that haha (hide spoiler)]

Yes, I do want to read another one, however, I am getting married in a month and will be travelling till the end of the year for my wedding and honeymoon. I might get some reading time in between but not sure yet.

Oh my god that is so exciting!!! I'd say maybe we will wait until next year then? That way you can fully enjoy your wedding and honeymoon :)
