I can read the english in malayalam but it's hard for me to respond bc I'm like "which sounds does this word make..."
Kripa_M wrote: "I know to speak malayam verryyy fluently but I can't read or write it"I can speak malayalam but I have a special touch cuz my grammar is absolute crap bc I think in English
oohhh, meee tooo sometimess I just can't make out how to write a certain word in manglish or idk what the other person is meaning.....
all the uncles and aunties here praise me bc I can speak malayalam but when I went to India, everyone was laughing💔
Kripa_M wrote: "oohhh, meee tooo sometimess I just can't make out how to write a certain word in manglish or idk what the other person is meaning....."I'm saying and I cant read or write
Omg that's me with Spanish. I only know a little bit but I am learning from Duolingo and my work. All the Spanish girls love me since I help the staff communicate when our Spanish speaking manager isn't there. They always blow me kisses and make hearts with their hands for me

but I miss being back in India😭 the food, people, air- i wore these palazzo pants a couple days ago and u have no idea how happy I was bc it smelled like the clothes from back home since I haven't touched those pants after coming back
Niyya ꪆৎ ·˚ wrote: "but I miss being back in India😭 the food, people, air- i wore these palazzo pants a couple days ago and u have no idea how happy I was bc it smelled like the clothes from back home since I haven't ..."Niyya can I ask something
What is India like. I don't have a passport so I cannot go over sea's or travel much but I am curious
wellll I can only speak for Kerala since I live there which is at the very end tip of India and I haven't visited anywhere else in India yet
Niyya ꪆৎ ·˚ wrote: "wellll I can only speak for Kerala since I live there which is at the very end tip of India and I haven't visited anywhere else in India yet"Gotcha. Ya I live in the seacoast of NH. Busy all year except in winter
there's coconut trees literally everywhere and the beaches are one of my favorite places to go- and there's restaurants from right to left and food stalls (but I wouldn't trust all of them bc some people can be real unhygienic😭) and oh, there's honking 24/7 so it's never quiet
there's no such thing as driving rules or lanes, buses will literally be less than an inch away from you
I always feel like my life is on the line when I'm in the car🙏 and my cousin's husband loves to annoy me so he just suddenly hits the brakes and starts screaming to scare me💀
Niyya ꪆৎ ·˚ wrote: "I always feel like my life is on the line when I'm in the car🙏 and my cousin's husband loves to annoy me so he just suddenly hits the brakes and starts screaming to scare me💀"Literally something my mother does
Niyya ꪆৎ ·˚ wrote: "LMAO but u get used to the honking real quickly"I used to live in a small city so used to it all

LMAOO
my favorite place is this shawarma restaurant called Al Taza and when I tell you I love that place, I LOVE IT. I went like 8 times in the two months I was there this year

i mean, in terms of greenery? for sure. here in the north/northeast it's literally the same as u described for the south except there r basically almost no trees and EVERYWHERE you go, there's trash. all you see is a cluster of buildings and wires and people and cars and stalls.
and i swear youre so right abt the traffic lanes and lights and rules thing! like literally coming here after having lived abroad is SO SCARY bcs you feel like youre hanging on to your seat for dear life since u never even know when the driver could hit the brakes or when some random animal can come in the road or when some random human comes in front of you like- it's terrifying
