I’m going to the 9:30am salah and then going to my grandparents house, then I’m forcing my family to go to the park near by so we can do a family photo shoot (let’s hope my grandma and aunt don’t fight me too much) then I think we’re going bowling but idk

So the story is that the prophet Ibrahim AS was told by Allah (God) to sacrifice his son Ismail after he didn’t have kids for long time and he was his pride and joy but he was going to do it anyway for Allahs sake and Allah immediately switched his son with a sheep and he sacrificed the sheep instead and it was just a test to see his loyalty to Allah

I'm not Muslim, I'm a Christian (not that religious) so we share some lore. But usually whenever it's eid my mother makes mutton and biryani but not this time because we're traveling to my very anti-non veg grandparents
