The Wanted List
American culture when it comes to work ethics and education are vastly different from the ones in South Asia.
Here, usually, parents like to coddle their kids even during adulthood. A child can stay at their parents house without fearing any judgement of age. But at the same time it does act as a disadvantage as well, considering that children aren't taught to be independent.

I learned independence as I was raised by a single mother. I now live with my grandparents. I actually because I am LGBTQ I have the fear of walking the streets, going to work and everything. My family is very controlling and manipulative and don't want me to move out because I am supposedly "too mentally ill"
my highschool too focuses more on Indian history and heritage rather than international history. Whatever I know of international history comes from my own interest in it.
we have different school boards in India, I'm in a state board school so mostly Indian history. CBSE (another board) has a mix of foreign and Indian and ICSE (another board) is mostly international history with only some indian

that's horrible! I hope you're doing well. I think you said that you were ex Christian so I assume your parents too are very religious.
I hope you're well at your grandparents and they don't think the same.

Ya I used to go to church and it was very controlling. I am now hellenic pagan meaning I worship the Greek gods. My grandparents are pretty much the same sadly. I do puzzles and read alot as a form to escape and kinda forget humanity

I thankfully no longer go to church. I was little about 5th grade so around 10-11 and they kicked me and my mom out because they suspected I was gay. They weren't wrong
I wish everything to get better for you Storm, take care of yourself. If you want to talk I'm always here.

They kicked you out? That's horrible. No one deserves to be trated that way by their 'support system'

I've never really thought of forensic pathology. It's not something I see a lot of people choose. What drew you too it?

Well I love true crime (red flag ik but its addicting) and I love science. So I wanted to do something in the forensics field since I love lab work. Well I looked into different types and that's the one that drew me to it. Also ducky and Abby from NCIS kinda intrigued me. Abby does a lot of the forensics while ducky does a lot of the autopsy aspects. RIP to the actor who played ducky

Lucky for me, my parents are quiet open to the LGBTQ+ community and my mother often tells me to marry a girl to make the family line more interesting in the future, lol. If you want to move somewhere, come to India, I'm sure we'd be happy to have you
I will think about it. Sadly with my career I need more so a crime populated state since autopsies are for unexpected deaths

I too love true crime. It really is addicting. I sometimes hyperfixate on true crime cases unhealthily. I'm also currently obsessed with Criminal Minds

Unfortunately, I need to sleep rn. It's already past 1 AM and I need to wake up early to go out with my mother. I'll talk with you later now, Storm! It was lovely having a proper conversation with you <3

maar voor de meerderheid is het niet lekker haha
dus ja! dat was mijn nederlands <3

The only reason why I care is because I have had families serve in the military. Last Friday I had a customer come through my line at like 8 at night EST with 6-8 cases of beer and 10-12 bottles of wine. Its literally just giving a reason for people to party
