Something like that happened to me once, we went out to eat and I got calamari which I thought was a type of prawn and I loveee prawns but it tasted so weird, when we got home my chachi told me it was squid lol

it was really chewy, not something i'd willingly ask for or eat more that a few times in my entire life (it was more chewy than beef T.T) but it wasn't so bad tho

I meann, it wasn't necessarily bad but calamari has no flavour at all and a rubbery texture so you need a really good sauce with it. If you have that you're set, if not it's gross

i went to a trip with my friends may and one of my friends dad (he was the only one accompanying us in the trip) showed me videos of his daughter (friends older sis) eating frog and i really wanted to unsee that (frogs are DISGUSTING to eat)
