What Genre Do You Want to Read?

This discussion will be for nominating genres that you want to read. I figured there might be specific genres that you guys might want to read. Instead of me having to always randomly choose genres, I can come here and see if there are any genres that you guys might want added to the GOTM poll. I will attempt to add genres from here every month until they are chosen. So some genres may end up in a GOTM poll for up to 3 consecutive months, after the third month I will give the genre a month break then add it back to the GOTM poll.

What are your thoughts on this process? Will it be too much pressure seeing a particular genre on the poll for 3 months in a row? Or is that perfectly fine with you guys?

Nominating from this thread and continuing to give a genre three chances to win is a good way to make people feel that you are taking consideration of what members want. I support this idea.

I'd like to read an Amish Romance. I suppose this could be considered a sub-genre of Christian Romance, but I'm particularly interested in Amish Romance and there are a number of authors writing them. I have read Amish Romance in the past, but it's been a long time since I've read one.

I'm glad you think it is a good idea. My main thing is trying to make sure that all the members can contribute to some of the nominations.

I've never read an Amish romance before, but I believe I have one that I got for free off Amazon. I'll make sure to add Amish romance to the GOTM poll for May.
