What music do you guys listen to while reading?

It varies for me depending on the vibes. I'll either choose my fall playlist (has songs with lyrics, artists like Lizzy McAlpine, Hozier, a few Taylor Swift, but all very soft and cozy), my Lo-Fi beats playlist (no lyrics, but easily identifiable songs), or my film scores playlist (no lyrics, just the instrumental background music from my favorite films like Finding Nemo or The Martian). Sometimes I don't mind having lyrics, sometimes it distracts me, so having options for either is super helpful for me. ☺ I'll link the ones I listen to below if you want to check them out, give em a listen or use them as inspo for your own playlist! 💜

I normally go on YouTube and find something to match the mood I'm currently in or the mood to match the book I'm reading! There is a few Spotify playlist as well for reading that have lyrics and some without any lyrics!

Depending on my mood and the time, I’ll usually listen to Taylor swift or Lana del ray but sometimes I’ll also listen to classical music. But I just focus better with loud noise/ songs which might not be the case for everyone

There’s a huge variety of ambience sounds & music on YouTube. I usually tend to listen to ambience music from Fantasy films or games as this really calms my mind and sets me in the right mood for reading. Plus, it’s not distracting at all and helps you concentrate, too!
