First impressions of Nick? Did you have any worries about him after Sam decided to leave with him?

He had an air of mystery about him. He was open with Sam, but also guarded. I was concerned at first.

[Jonetta]

It was clear that he and Sam had a connection but I knew nothing about him. He didn’t come across as a party rat but that’s what a predator would do, too!

[Sharon]

I liked Nick. He seemed to be a good guy, but there was a chance that he wasn't who he said he was.

[Charlene]

I was concerned that he was too much to be the genuine article.

Too good to be true, maybe?

I liked Nick. He seemed like a great guy; but I'm sure there are a lot of rapists and murders who seem like great guys when you meet them.

Since I've already read the next book (a long time ago), I wasn't concerned.
