Ellie testifies against the Landry’s. She nails it even though their attorney tries to discredit her. Her demonstration of how observant she is was hilarious – including telling him his fly was down. What were your thoughts on this scene and what purpose does it serve?

Trying to discredit her was the only way he could have saved his clients. Obviously, this attorney didn't do much research on her or he would have known that it wouldn't work.

I think the author just wanted to put in a humorous scene. I liked it!

I loved this scene! It was good to see a strong Ellie put the attorney in his place. Ellie was unflappable.
