i read Malibu raising and i was disappointed at the end.
i have heard great things about The 7 Husbands of Hugo, so i would like to read it next however, is this better than Malibu raising for those who have read both already? I would appreciate your honest/candid opinion-

Yes, however, Malibu rising centers a lot in family, while Evelyn Hugo is more about the survival of women in a men industry.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo was an amazing read. It was the first book I read by Reid and it was such an experience.
I will agree Malibu Rising was good but it didn't have the same effect I had with Evelyn Hugo.
I feel the details and storyline was better. I was hooked from the first page, I was addicted to what was going to happen next. From the first time picking up I could barely keep the book down, I wanted to know who was the next husband, how and why marriage failed.

It was a good read. Lots of twists and turns. But depicts the true struggle behind the glamour industry!
YESSSS, i love Malibu Rising but The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo will always be my favorite from the author, so if anyone hasn't read it yet, trust me, it is worth it!
I wouldn’t say that one book was better than the other…just different kinds of character development, narrative style, and plotting for two very different stories. I thoroughly enjoyed both novels!
Yes this is so much better than Malibu Rising! I love Malibu Rising but The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is my absolute all time favorite.
Much better and a more 'complete' story unlike Malibu rising.
