Hello fellow readers-

Creating this thread for our seventh overall book but our third book of round 2.

Please share your final ranking and thoughts below:

Favorite Character: Elizabeth doesn't settle for less than what she wants. Boss bitch energy.

Least Favorite: Lydia for being a troublesome bitch and bragging about getting married. Kind of super needy for everyone's attention and approval.

Rating: 5/10 - Kind of dull throughout most of the book and just kind of the journey of her getting with a guy and life and social status of the 1800s.

Savanah | 81 comments Fave - Elizabeth of course, she is a fierce woman and is brave to speak her mind while still keeping her proper ladylike reputation

2nd fave Miss Bennet - she’s an eccentric mamma who wants the best for her children (at all cost, for sickness or health)

Least fave - Miss Bingley cause she’s a super rude bitch

Rating - 8/10

Alicia Jones | 36 comments Favorite character: Lizzy, strong independent woman who don't need no man and won't marry simple for money or her parents satisfaction, gives this advice to her sisters as well. A feminist icon who speaks her mind. Honorable mention: Mr Bennet for being an understanding and a supportive father.

Least favorite character: a first ever tie between Miss Bingley, a snooty, conniving bitch, and Mrs Bennet, a lonely sad excuse for a mother.

Rating: 4.9 an easier read to my enjoyment however not thought provoking; a storytime sort of play with little substance so much so as to have to think hard for topics to converse about

Alex O. | 42 comments Favorite Character: Mr. Darcy - Although he appeared to be cold and narcassitic, he was the kindest and most "amiable" character. I related with the fact that he was tired of other people's expectations and bad manners. I also liked that he fell in love with Elizabeth for her brashness.

Least Favortie Character: Mr. Collins - His advances towards Elizabeth was a bit creepy, especially after she said no numberous times and he continued to insist she accept his proposal. His obsession with Lady Catherine was also weird.

Rating: 7/10 - The classic literature was a bit hard to interpret sometimes, but after the first 150 pages or so, I was able to adapt to the 1800s text. I enjoyed the love arcs between Jane and Mr. Bing, as well as Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy. The book was nothing earth shattering but I thought it was heart warming and enjoyable.
