the silent patient is a good beginner thriller, i would already recommend riley segar's entire backlist especially lock every door! they are fast paced and very easy to read

Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. It’s Sci-Fi but also a thriller in my opinion. Literally action packed from the very first chapter

I got into thrillers with the A Good Girl's Guide to Murder series and I will never stop recommending it.

I also enjoyed Five Survive and the The Agatha's Series.
