Jane Austen + Time Travel - two of my favorite things! Rose is an Austen fan who lives and works in Bath. She is joined for the Jane Austen Festival by her American friend Morgan, who she met online. She keeps seeing a young woman with very authentic, though shabby Regency clothes. Eventually she is convinced that this is Jane herself, who has a way to go back and forth through time. But an odd situation causes her to be stranded in the 21st century. And because Jane never went back to write her books, everything else is changed as well. Rose and Jane have to work together to get back to their usual lives. There are of course love interests as well. The book ends rather abruptly but it is clear there is a sequel. I might or might not read more. One thing I lliked was the delightful friendship between Rose and Morgan, which I assume is based on the friendship between the two authors.
