I have a Goodreads blog and I wrote this earlier this month letting people know that my Time Travel Romance Hide in Time is on sale. The sale price has expired now but it's still not very expensive so I thought you might like to take a look as it definitely has a happy ending! And it is FREE on Kindle Unlimited. The world seems to be going through some strange, anxiety-creating times: war, floods, fires, heat waves and more.
I hope you will hop over to https://www.goodreads.com/author_blog... where you might find some reasons to be cheerful – and please add your own reasons in the blog’s comments and spread a little much needed enjoyment and, if you can, some laughter too.
FREE on Kindle Unlimited. Louisa, a Goodreads reviewer says, "When a book allows me to become one of the characters....aahhhh, perfection!"
Interview with a talented authorI don’t have time to read as many books as I would like but I have read several of Gail Meath’s and here is what I said about one of them: “Oh what joy; an immensely satisfying read with the pace increasing until it becomes impossible to put down. Meticulous plotting, what a story!”
Take a look at the interview here: https://www.goodreads.com/author_blog...
And I know we all like bargains so here’s my latest book on a Kindle Countdown Deal at 0.99 in the US and UK.
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6... and it’s always free on Kindle Unlimited. It's a time travel romance and the time traveller makes a very big mistake.
There’s also a quotation from an author which you may or may not agree with. Please tell us your thoughts.

Merry Christmashttps://www.goodreads.com/author_blog...
Something a little different this month as this is the month when many of us will be scratching our heads (or whatever you do when you absolutely have to do some thinking). What to buy for Christmas presents? Easy: a book. It’s something that lasts, can be treasured, can be shared and most of all can bring joy – and that is precisely what Christmas tends to do.
I’ve done your searching for you. Ahem. Three of my paperback books have been reduced in price to the very lowest that Amazon allows for authors in their Kindle Direct Publishing. At their very lowest, the author receives nothing. So that’s me! I’d like them to have been even cheaper but Amazon have to make their money…
All books are clean and have happy endings so you can confidently buy them for friends and relations.

Now the sneaky peek at the forthcoming release of another Time Travel. Here's the opening sentence:
“From the outside Eleanor saw no discernible reason why Flint Cottage should be dirt cheap to rent.”
If you were offered somewhere that looked like a dream cottage in an English country village and it was dirt cheap, would you take it without viewing it? Perhaps you would if there was usually very little available to rent at a price you could afford? Perhaps you would if you had walked out on a no-good two-timing whatsit and had nowhere else to go? Might it seem like a dream come true?

If you follow the link it’s a short cut to more information about a shivers-down-the-spine mystery. Some of the characters never get to shiver, some are cool even in the face of… of what? Just be careful to check you’re getting on the right train.
And does it have a happy ever after ending? Thanks to the dog, it all ends very well.
In the blog you’ll start to get the ‘feel’ of the book, so please take a look and let me know what you think of the title.
is currently available on Amazon for only 0.99 in the UK and the US until 19th November.
What is it about?
It’s a time travel romance about a love that never died : Laura finds herself washed ashore from a shipwreck early in the 21st century - she'd stormed off from her betrothed in 1814 so she's somewhat confused as to how this could happen. She likes her new life but she realizes she has made a terrible mistake.
Meanwhile, Xandra even hates her name as well as all the other bothersome things of modern day life and Laura happens to notice this. Could she...? Yep, she could, and she does. Back goes Xandra to 1814 only to be met with suspicious travelling companions, a highwayman and a delicious man who is still mourning the death of the girl he loved.
How do these two cope with their puzzling new lives? And how does Laura manage not to upset the course of history despite her meddling? And oh boy can she meddle!
Amazon #1 Best Seller in Books>Romance>Time Travel. If you like a romance with a little bit of mystery, a touch of humour and something of the thriller, then please grab a copy and visit another time, another place and find a love that never died.
Is it worth buying? What do Amazon reviewers say?

The 'happy ever after' theme touches on what I try to write and certainly what I like to read. I think it's so much better to finish reading a book and look back with a smile rather than some cliff hanger leaving questions unanswered or leaving the reader horrified at the devastating ending. I remember reading a great Thomas Hardy book but the ending left me reeling and I have never forgotten that awful feeling. It might have been true to life - life often hands out difficulties but books should, I think, leave us feeling satisfied and perhaps even inspired.
