Catherine (semi active) | 1433 comments Mod
😂 Yeah, I like keeping books in pristine condition (if they're new) if possible too!

Dog ear a book, though I'd be more likely to break the spine of a book.

Would you rather read with loud noises around you or read in 15 minute increments?

message 66: by Rachael (new)

Rachael (dogoodwithbooks) | 66 comments I guess 15 minute increments. I can't stand reading with loud noises around me, and I guess the breaks in between reading sessions would be nice (though, I don't know how you would set it up for how long it would be until I can read for another 15 minutes).

If you were listening to an audiobook version of a memoir, would you rather listen to it be performed by a professional narrator or by the author themselves?

Rhapsody’s book club The author themselves, because they have a better understanding and connection to the book

Would you rather only buy from a cute small bookstore that has cheaper prices but you don’t know if the book your looking for is always there, or only buy from a bigger book store that is more expensive and almost always has the book your looking for?

message 68: by Tasha (new)

Tasha That's a hard one, but I'll go with cute small bookstore because usually if they don't have what your looking for they can order it but absolutely love taking a trip to Barnes and Noble lol

Would you rather read in a window seat during a thunder storm or out on a porch swing when it’s slightly breezy and sunny? (I’d go for the thunder storm in a heartbeat. Lol)

message 97: by Jia (new)

Jia (starsatelier) i'm with you Elisabeth! definitely would read on a window seat during a thunderstorm. oooh~ and with a cup of hot tea, too! that's my jam.

would you rather only be able to read the last page of every chapter in a book, or only be able to begin the book halfway (the first half is forbidden)?

message 98: by Robert (new)

Robert Borders I guess most books have more pages in the last half of their book, than chapters so I'll have to begin the book halfway.

Would you rather have all your books require you to use a messy solution on each page, or one that requires a randomly generated Password that if you lose you may never read that book, or any other copy of it, again?

message 99: by Josy (new)

Josy I would read on a windowseat during a thunderstorm
