angeline (ramblingdaydreams) you dont have to read shadow and bone in order to read six of crows as it is a completely different story with different characters. it would only help you understand the world building a little better and maybe some references. other than that, theres nothing keeping you from reading just six of crows. i read six of crows before shadow and bone and the only downside was that i got a bit confused with the world building, like i aforementioned. but go ahead and read whatever you like, six of crows is an amazing duology! :)

ruby ౨ৎ don't have to read shadow and bone, but having a general knowledge is good because the world is a little confusing and there is not a lot of worldbuilding in SOC. but i think you'll be fine if you have some idea of the world. BTW SOC AND CROOKED KINGDOM ARE THE BEST.
