*Follow your own time zone. If you finish the book between the theme dates in your time zone, it counts.
*You must be able to justify how your book fits the theme. Example: If the theme is cats, then your book can have a cat on the cover, a cat in the book, can be all about cats, etc. If you can justify it, then it will work. Let's keep this easy and you may be creative with your links to the themes.

Buddy Read Bonus (New rules)

✨Tier one: Buddy read with one friend
Minimum 300 pages
1 point = doesn't fit the theme
2 points - does fit the theme

✨Tier Two: Buddy read with 2 or more friends
Minimum 300 pages
3 points = doesn't fit the theme
5 points = does fit the theme

✨Tier Three: Read the Formal Buddy Read led by a HOB Mod.
6 points = doesn't fit the theme
10 points = fits the theme

LOL, I had a couple of people try to slip informal buddy reads in for the Formal Buddy Read bonus points a few times. Now that I have given that option, nobody is interested. Interesting.

i suck at them otherwise i would do them. i'm a slow reader- everytime i buddy up with someone they are done in 0.5 seconds SO it's just not worth it for me...
