Not at all, Merril! You did a great job at expressing what you liked about the story, as well as what you felt could have been better. I will always write the story I have in my head and my heart but I do try to learn from my mistakes and improve my craft whenever I can. Constructive criticism is a great way for me to look deeper at the story I've told and acknowledge any failings on my part. It took me two years to write Bound by Sacrifice because I knew the story I wanted to write, but feared writing something that might be seen as offensive to certain people with strong beliefs. You review was honest and that is, by far, the best type of review. <3
