was a DNF for me. I got about 30% into the book and all I wanted to do was to push the MC down a flight of stairs.

This book was a fun mix of Blair Witch and Annihilation style haunted forest horror.
I'm a sucker for a haunted forest.
You never really get to know any of the characters in depth other than Harper; you don't feel that much for any of them except him and maybe Nuria, so the stakes are fairly low.
I wish there had been more at the end, but that's okay.

The authors completely failed to write a satisfactory resolution to the conflict rescue scene, which the plot was based upon. Ruined the story.
