Those are all great titles! We all want to magically portal into some of these worlds. Try Skythief by Matthew Wolf. It just came out on kindle and audible. Super fun.
Try "The Land" by Aleron KongTrapped Mind Project (Emerilia Series) - Michael Chatfield
Check my list for some additionals
I like "The Adventures on Brad" (pronounced "broad") series by Tao Wongand I second "The Land" by Aleron Kong
Maybe "Rogue Dungeon" by James A Hunter, it's very well-written for the genre
Thanks! I’ll add those for sure! Also I really enjoyed the work done by Dakota Kraut. Not sure why this posted 3 times..

hmmm never heard of immortal great souls. i'll have to check it out. i agree on the Dungeon crawler carl. Fantastic books!
The quest academy series by Brian Norton is my favorite right now. The pacing of the over all timeline is a pretty slow, however the writing is really good and the world building is great; book three came out recently as well.
Thanks! I’ve been reading a lot! I’ve loved the Wandering inn as well as Battle mage farmer and any other book by Seth Ring. I’ll add your recommendations to my To-Read. Thanks again
Been reading The Good Guys series by Eric Ugland (which is a separate series from The Bad Guys) and have been loving it. Humor sprinkled throughout occasionally hits like Dungeon Crawler Carl. Currently on book 9 of 15. Recommend!Highlights:
- Great progression that isn't super crunchy.
- Morally torn protag on a redemption arc.
- The core cast has a unique voice and personality that doesn't feel contrived.
- The stakes unable to be ignored and become more desperate as the series progresses.
- The protag is OP, but still runs up against obstacles he can't just smash his way through.
- There's city-building, but done artfully and never a slogging focus.
Negatives:
- The protag's inner depression will at times conflict with his personality, resulting in frustrating sequences.
- Not too many other negs to say. If you've read a good amount of LitRPGs, this series won't bring anything particularly new to the table, but remains entertaining regardless.
