Hi Haya!!Taylor Jenkins Reid is a good author to get out of a slump with. Daisy Jones and the Six was good but maybe Malibu Rising will have the juicy drama you need to get the pages flying. Neither are fantasy or murder mystery or any of that though.
Verity by Colleen Hoover wasn’t my cup of tea but was actually kinda addicting to get through too. It’s more on the mystery side that you might like :)
I haven’t broke into the fantasy genre yet, but I want to! Any favorites to recommend back ?
the naturals series by jennifer lynn barnes!!! it got me out of my reading slump recently and its soooo fast paste and easy to read i’m obsessed with this series
try the good girls guide to murder series, the chestnut springs series or the mindf*ck series! all are super entertaining and fast paced
Foe by Iain Reid. It's super cleverly written and full of suspense, and will keep you turning the pages, desperate to find out what happens next!
If you haven't read the Caraval trilogy yet, you should try it. I know reading a trilogy to get out of a reading slump sounds a bit odd, but I swear that the world of Caraval just seems to consume you. Every time I started reading a page, I just lost track of time. And the atmosphere is quite similar to The Night Circus.
