SOLVED. Humorous fiction about waspy wedding in the summer

I’m trying to find a novel (not romance) about waspy weddings. I believe the book may be called something similar to “wedding season.”

The book is humorous and in the vein of Pineapple Street. It may be set in New England—someplace like Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket. Or, farther afield, the Hamptons.
