I love how magical it is! I wish someone used the dreams in this world in a real long fantasy book.

I love the way the bfg is so simplistic :) it's sweet like he's a child.

I just love the language the bfg uses, the whole made up world lol Roald Dahl has always managed to make books that screamed magic

Yes on the bit with the Queen dream that was great how they came up with a plan don't you think

Definitely, a strange plan but I guess this book is all about the strange.

I just laughed when they needed to make a table for him and sit and how much he eat lol

I loved that part that they wanted to include him enough to make a table and chair just big enough for him lol, he's a giant but for a giant he did eat a lot

I didn't like Sophie in this book, in most of Roald dahls books I like the children they had but she was an exception she seemed kind of bratty and bossy really.

Yeah I can see why you would make that point she was always trying to correct him for his speaking

I like how Sophie tried to keep the BFG from thinking of humans as food it was quite funny to read this.

"Do you like vegetables?" Sophie asked, hoping to steer the conversation towards a slightly less dangerous kind of food.
"You is trying to change the subject," the Giant said sternly. "We is having an interesting babblement about the taste of the human bean. The human bean is not a vegetable."

It made me laugh that he was simplistic yet knew when someone was trying to distract him and change the subject because it wasn't expected

Up to the Bloodbottler (view spoiler)[ The BFG is so cute! He's so cheerful about everything, even though he doesn't have all that much to be cheerful about. I love his description of how all the different human beans taste. Even with a mention of my city, yussss. I don't understand why he won't steal food though? Couldn't he pay them with dreams or something so he didn't feel bad about it? (hide spoiler)]

Up to the Great Plan (view spoiler)[ All I want is to get to run with the BFG and go dream catching with him. Those dreams sound so interesting! And I love thinking that that's the way it actually works, with him and his trumpet thing. Even just reading the really short descriptions is great. It probably doesn't need to be split into boys and girls though - I wouldn't mind either one of those, they all sounded like really interesting dreams (hide spoiler)]

Up to the Royal Breakfast. I realised I haven't talked about the pictures yet! Question Blake has drawn so well in this book. The descriptions match the pictures absolutely perfectly. I like the way he speaks. It's just the thing I love about the book haha. And I like how he mentions NZ as well :p

Finished! It's one of my favourite endings of any book (view spoiler)[ It's so cool to think the BFG wrote the book, you know? I mean, obviously it's fictional, but once you've read a book the character becomes real, and that little thing has made him even more real to me. Plus, it's so sweet to see an orphan finding a family. It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside! (hide spoiler)]
