What do y’all think of the shatter me series?

I only read the first trilogy.
I didn't really love the books, but they were enjoyable, only because om Aaron Warner.. so yeah I problably only continued reading it because of him, oh and a little because of Benji
not so much for the plot

i feel like the previous comments had some typos, if not i'm just a lil disappointed in them...

anyway, i loved the series. as i read, i loved it even more than i did when i started. my favorite in the series would definitely have to be defy me. it's one of those series where patience is key and you have to stick around to see the character development.

i finished the main 6 book series but im going back to read the novellas now. im in reveal me so i only have one more after this, but i would recommend to bug the novellas with the main books and read them as they occur. maybe it's just me, but i don't like reading things where i already know what happens because it makes the more intense scenes less intense, yk?

I read the first book and I hated it. I was hoping for a sci-fi dystopia but it was 99% Romance and 1% of Warner being an ass. Aaron literally harasses the mc and I hear so many ppl say he gets a “redemption” but unless he was brainwashed or controlled by an outside party, I will forever hate him.

I really recommend that series because it's one of my favourites but to me the series ended on defy me Because wdym Ella/julliete fell in love with Aaron's dad? nuh-uh I will not accept that, I'll just stay delulu and think Julliete and Aaron ended up getting married after book 5.

if you like the relationship between the characters then it is a 10/10 but the plot it's not that good, I mean it is but the final it's just crap and the new series is just like and eternal epilogue but I really liked them, they're fast and light to read

I just remembered some parts of the second series and it's so funny like it literally turn ridiculous at one point haha but idk I enjoyed them, had a better closure
