All I want to develop is an API extension for goodreads. Basis The number of books remaining of that particular author.

Let's say, you have read 2 books by Camus, there should be a 'wall' kinds where you can see the remaining books of Camus that you haven't read. And you can compare it as a ratio.

Yes, I'm part of the team that supports the public api. We're a small team, so we kind of have to pick our battles so to speak, and we can't support every feature request we receive, unfortunately.We are however committed to maintaining the api, also because we are actual users of said api! We use it in our official iOS and Android apps.
