Thanks! I’ve been meaning to read this for a while and I definitely want to read it before I watch the movie.

Book - Thread of Fear
Author - Laura Griffin
Date - 9/11/23
Rating - 4.5 Stars
Review - This was actually a really good book. Our MC is a forensic artist and she gets dragged into a serial killer case where the killer is targeting young Latino girls. With a couple of witnesses, Fiona is able to draw a likeness of the killer. THe other MC, Jack Bowman, is the police chief of a small sleepy town in Texas where these murders are occurring. Jack and Fiona work together to try and solve this case.
The reason for the 4.5 rating is the chemistry between these two. Although the author put these 2 together romantically it seemed very forced and not natural. Fiona is very hot and cold with Jack. One minute she is declaring her love and the next she gives him the cold shoulder over absolutely nothing. It made no sense. Even the sex scene was weird. There was no build up or excitement. It was the blandest thing I have ever read. Other than that I enjoyed the action and the progression of the story.
